Electrosmog disease? And How To Avoid Electrosmog

What Is Electrosmog?

Electrosmog  is a uniquely modern issue due to the prevalence of technology we rely upon in modern life. We are all familiar with electrosmog's predecessor, smog. Smog refers to air pollution, but it was caused by industrial emissions, and produced horrid looking, thick air.

Electrosmog is a different kind of air pollution that's caused by the preponderance of electromagnetic waves we're surrounded by and exposed to 24 hours a day. Electrosmog is caused in a few ways, which include:

  1. Electromagnetic direct current (DC) fields : This is the least harmful. It's put off by battery-operated appliances that we use. Direct current flows one way.

2.Low-Frequency Alternating Fields : This field consists of the low-frequency  alternating currents  that are being carried through the cables and wires in our homes and over ground, such as telephone wires.

  1. Magnetic Field :When appliances are turned on and running, they generate a magnetic field, which we are exposed to.
  2. Electric Field : Even when the appliances are not turned on, there is an electric field carried in the wires and cables.
  3. High-Frequency Alternating Fields : These frequencies are powerful enough to penetrate walls and homes. They are given off by transmitters, but don't need to have a receiver to have a negative effect. Some sources of high-frequency waves include:
  • Radars
  • Microwaves
  • Wi-Fi
  • GPS
  • CB Radios

What Is Elecotrsmog Disease?

While we are all surrounded by and interacting with these electromagnetic waves, some people's bodes may be more heavily effected by them. This can cause an autoimmune condition that's known as electrosmog disease.

It's important to note that correlation does not equal causation, in a scientific sense. That being said, the past 20 years or so has shown and explosion in diseases like:

  • Chronic fatigue issues
  •  Alzheimer’s disease
  • Lyme disease
  • Cancers of numerous kinds, especially in areas with high electromagnetic wave levels
  •  Lowered sperm motility and viability in men.

In the past 20 years, use of Wi-Fi, 4G phone towers, and heading into 5G have exploded. Scientists are divided as to whether the can conclusively state electrosmog is the cause of the preponderance of these issues.

How To Avoid Electrosmog?

While there is not a consensus quite yet, you still might wish to avoid electrosmog for safety. Some ways to cut down on your exposure include:

  • Not using a microwave
  • Not putting cables and wires underneath your bed
  • Switching from Wi-Fi connection to ethernet/wired connection
  • Switching to a landline phone if feasible
